You know the future is always slightly brighter when the Egyptian government is on board with any initiative, in this case its a solar initiative. Capitalising on Egypt’s optimum environment for renewable energy resources, Egypt intends to increase the supply of electricity generated from the sun by 25 percent by 2035.
An announcement by the investment ministry earlier this week stated that Egypt's 1.6GW solar park will be fully operational in 2019.
